Brassacou lies on the bank of the Ariège, near the small town of Pamiers, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The property includes a park-like garden, a virgin forest, fields and meadows.
Plane trees border a private beach at the river Ariège, where you can sunbathe, swim or make small excursions in your own rubber boat or canoe.
Pamiers is nearby and offers with its 18.000 inhabitants good restaurants and many boutiques and supermarkets. Pamiers is known as the city of festivals, numerous events like markets, concerts, sport competitions and fairs take place during many weekends around the year.
In the midst of a virgin nature paradise with all kinds of animals, many rare flowers and plants, you can spend many relaxing quiet days. Wit a bit of luck you will see numerous wild animals like boars, roes, badgers, beavers, hares, pheasants, partridges, different birds of prey and song-birds like the kingfisher, nightingale, hoopoe and golden oriole. Only on the 100 hectares of the property of Brassacou you already will find more than a thousand species of different orchids.

Le Ramier 'the wood-pigeon' – a refreshing vacation in the South of France
In the department l'Ariège, in the beautiful foothills of the Pyrenees, lies between nature the property Le Ramier. If you're looking for quiet, if you love nature and animals, you have found the right place!
On a terrain of a total of two hectares, of which 5000 m2 a beautiful fenced parc, stand our two houses with a splendid view of the often snow covered Pyrenees.
The main house, where we the owners live and 50 metres next to that the lovely gite, awaiting its guests.
The gite is level, wheelchair friendly and therefore ultimately suited for the elderly or physically disabled.
